Made of a light weight option in deadstock linen. They are all hand painted in the La Reunion studio, and no two are the same. Inspired by the folk art by the Korhongo people of the Ivory Coast, La Reunion created a motif that would honor the endangered birds of Africa.

Sarah Nsikak is a Nigerian-American living in Brooklyn, New York. Her love of textiles led her to work in the fashion industry for several years after completing a Master's Degree in Art Therapy. The exorbitant amount of waste generated by the fashion industry inspired her to return back to her art practice. These hand-quilted pieces are made exclusively using recycled material sourced from fashion designers based in New York. Special textiles are also sourced through vintage stores and estate sales.

For most in-stock, full-priced items, you may return your purchase for an exchange or store credit if we receive the item back in the store within 7 days of delivery. A refund can be issued, but a 3.5% transaction fee and any shipping costs over the amount already paid will be deducted from the total.

For domestic shipping, Shop Boswell uses USPS or UPS ground for a $12 flat fee for standard items and $18 for hats and heavier items. If the item is large or unusually heavy, we will reach out to the customer for an additional shipping fee.
