The Hawaiian Shirt features prints of rural Japanese landscapes.. The connection between Japan and Hawaii dates back centuries, and some even speculate that the origin of the Hawaiian shirt can be traced back to the adaptation of Japanese kimonos into shirts. This particular shirt showcases scenes from rural Japan in the early Meiji era, depicting charming elements such as thatched-roof houses, watermills, and lush mountain trees. It evokes a sense of nostalgia for the old, serene Japan. The shirt is made of 100% rayon, which is not only breathable and quick-drying but also has a pleasant feel against the skin, ensuring comfort even in the hottest summer weather. It can be worn as a standalone dress or as an outer layer, providing versatile styling options.

Shipping & Returns
For most in stock, full priced items, you may return your purchase for a refund, exchange or store credit if we receive the item back in the store within 7 days of delivery. You must request a return authorization within 4 days of delivery. We require that you pay for the return shipping and the shipping fee for the exchanged item.
Shop Boswell uses USPS or UPS ground for a $12 flat fee for standard items and $18 for hats and heavier items on orders under $300. If the item is large or unusually heavy, we will reach out to the customer for an additional shipping fee, even if the purchase was over $300.
